The Chinese Students and Scholars Association held the 2020-2021 Annual Election Conference at 6:50 pm on February 28, 2020. Elections were overseen by the Elections Committee, and campaign speeches were broadcast live over the web. To view campaign speeches, click here.
The Election Committee consists of the current members of the Human Resources Department and the Secretary Department of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association. They are the Director of Secretary Department, Deng Haonan, the members of HR department Junhao Li, and Zihao Song. The election process will be overseen by them.
After 72 hours of voting, we have completed the election of the president, Director of Entertainment, the Director of Human Resources, and the Director of Finance. The total number of Chinese students at Thomson River University is about 550. The total number of people participating in the election was 26, with 0 abstentions. The participation rate was 4.7%, which was 1.1% lower than last year.
