TRUCSSA to match up donations from local Chinese community in response to the current conflict

British Columbia, Kamloops – TRUCSSA is deeply concerned about the current conflict between Ukraine and Russia, and the well-being of international students at TRU.

Today, YiNan Yang, the president of TRUCSSA, announced that TRUCSSA will match every donation made by individuals from the local Chinese community between {date} and April 1, 2022, up to a maximum of $400.

The collected amount will be made as a donation to Thompson Rivers University’s World Relief Fund which has been set up to assist TRU students impacted by the current conflict.

It is a registered Thompson Rivers University Students’ Union club and also a recognized student organization by the consulate general of the People’s Republic of China education sector in Vancouver.
